What To Expect

What you can expect when signing up and competing in Next Gen’s COED Slowpitch (USA) leagues.

You will be welcomed in to the facility where you will find a seating area for each team consisting of 7 seats, a table & bathrooms. There will be a large bar seating area behind team benches to facilitate teams coming and going pre & post game.

All Next Gen leagues will run 6v6 double headers (except for playoffs) which means each team will play at least two games per night. At the start of each game lineups will be set and teams will flip a coin to determine what stadium will be used.

For most leagues (non live) a JUGS pitching machine will be used. Specified during registration each league will either utilize USA/ASA OR USSSA bats & balls (all balls are provided). Each team will provide a feeder when they are hitting, who must remain behind the pitching screen at all times. Each at-bat players may take 3 pitches (to accommodate bad pitches) the third pitch of any at-bat must be swung at. 3 pitches without a ball in play = Strikeout.

There are multiple 100” screens available for viewing the HitTrax Sim Game as well as any popular events that may be occurring during league play (NFL, MLB, NBA, CFB)

There is a 35 minute, hard cutoff, time limit unless otherwise specified. Post game the winning team must pick up any loose balls and place the bucket behind the pitching screen.

Anyone caught stealing or vandalizing will be banned from the facility Indefinitely.
